Control Systems

F & G Industries’ controls offer added convenience and safety: whenever a control activates a motor, both the control and the receiving unit remain in constant contact with each other. If contact is lost, all crane motions are safely and rapidly stopped.

We recommend purchasing a complete control system with your new crane purchase for optimal performance. Easy-to-install panels feature all of the components needed to provide complete motor control for bridge, trolley, hoisting, or combined motions. Pre-engineered standard control systems are available for quick delivery. Custom panels – built to your exact specifications – are also available.

Radio Remote Controls

For new installations:

When used together with the crane controls, receivers provide direct serial communication between the receiver and drive.  The controls' plug and play capabilities make installation and operation simple and efficient.  Integrated systems have less wire and fewer relays, so there's less chance of mechanical failure.

Different controllers are available for both single-hand operation and bellybox operation.

 

For retrofit applications:

Receivers can be used with traditional-type systems using conventional contactor control or adjustable frequency drives without serial communication. The receivers can be configured with various output control configurations and are available with a variety of transmitter options.
